The June 2026 issue highlights recent advances in defense education, human capital development, and strategic innovation as key enablers of national resilience in an era characterized by digital transformation, hybrid threats, and evolving geopolitical dynamics. The featured articles address diverse yet interconnected themes, including national defense education, non-military defense through food security, competency-based human resource development, cybersecurity capacity building, strategic leadership learning, and quantitative approaches to defense assessment.
Together, these studies demonstrate that strengthening national defense extends beyond military capabilities to encompass adaptive education systems, technological readiness, institutional capacity, and evidence-informed decision-making. This issue contributes to the growing discourse on building resilient defense ecosystems through interdisciplinary research that bridges policy, education, technology, and organizational development, while offering practical implications for defense institutions and public sector organizations.
